About

There are lives that write themselves despite everything. Mine is one of them.

I am Zara Lumis. Author, inner explorer, and above all a woman who learned — sometimes through pain — to transform her wounds into words, and her words into bridges toward others.

It wasn’t ease that led me to writing. It was the opposite. The trials endured, the long nights, the silences that weigh heavy. And then one day, the urge — visceral, urgent — not to let it all disappear without meaning.

Writing became for me what a flame is in darkness. A way to see. To warm. To keep going.

What keeps me standing

There is a love that runs through each of my books, even when I don’t speak of it directly. It is the love I carry for my family, and especially for my mother. She taught me that gratitude is not a posture — it is a way of being in the world. Of noticing what matters, even when everything seems to crumble.

It is for her, and for all those who resemble her, that I write.

My themes

I navigate between several territories that in reality form only one: human transformation.

Gratitude as a daily practice. Spirituality as an anchor, not an escape. Personal development born from lived experience, not theory. Family as a place of transmission and healing.

My books are not manuals. They are companions.
